By default, the search engine tries to locate pages that contain exact matches for all of the words included in a search query. If that fails, it tries to locate pages that contain any of the words, as indicated by a short message displayed above the search results.

Specific word combinations

To search for specific phrases or word combinations, place them within quotation marks. For example: "Vietnam War"… "the Nordic model of society"… "assassination of Olof Palme".

Link problems

If the link of a search result looks odd or does not function properly, the web address (URL) can be copied directly into the address box at the top of the browser window. Example search result:
